Practical Birth Preparation Class

Why choose this workshop?

This class is, by definition, practical. Many antenatal courses provide lots of information, but often miss out on the practical tools that really support your labour and birth experience. This is for you and your birth partner to learn and practice techniques that will support you through your labour and birth. You’ll learn the significance of the connection of your body and mind and how you can nurture this throughout your pregnancy to support your labour and birth. We explore ways to manage pain, breathing techniques, hurdles you may encounter and ways to overcome them. You will understand the mechanics of your body and learn how movement and positioning can really change the experience of your labour and birth. Your birth partner will understand their role in your journey, and how to support and advocate for you.
