A Mother Space

A Mother Space is a fortnightly gathering for mamas with babies up to one year. Whether this is your first baby or you are welcoming a new addition to your family, the experience of these early weeks and months of motherhood can be a whirlwind.

This is a nurturing and supportive space for you to come with your baby and gather with other mothers. A non-judgemental space to meet, chat, listen and be heard. A community to support each other through the initial weeks and months of motherhood. We celebrate the wins and hold space for the tough times.

What will we do?

Each Mother Space will focus on a topic relevant to motherhood and will be gently guided by your facilitator. There will be opportunity to talk, listen and share. We will explore some gentle movement and breathing techniques, share tea and cake, and honour this chapter of your journey. We will hold your baby (if you want us to!) and give you a chance to take a breath.

Who will host it?

A Mother Space will be facilitated by Roisin and Claire. Ro is a yoga teacher, birth educator and postpartum doula. Claire from Tutum Birthing is a hypnobirthing teacher and doula, mindful breastfeeding practitioner and birth trauma specialist. Both have over 8 years of experience working with pregnant people and new mothers.
